Billing Overview

The Billing section is where you manage how you pay for services and how you get paid for services inside Care Transformation Studio.

What this does / Why it matters

Accurate billing information ensures smooth payments for consults, projects, and subscriptions. Keeping your details current avoids interruptions in service.

  • Payment Methods → Add credit, debit, or ACH to purchase consults, projects, or subscriptions.

  • Payments Account → Create a Stripe Connect account so you can receive payments for your own services and consultations.

Updating your billing information

  1. Log in to https://app.caretransformation.studio.

  2. From the side navigation, click User Settings.

  3. Select Billing.

  2. From the side navigation, click User Settings → Billing.

  3. Manage billing in two areas:

Payment Methods (buy services)

  • Add or update → Click Manage to add a credit card, debit card, or ACH payment method.

  • Make Default → Select which method will be used for all purchases.

  • Securely stored through our payment processor.

Payments Account (get paid)

  • Click Dashboard to set up or manage your Stripe Connect account.

  • Stripe Connect is required to receive payouts for consults, projects, or services you deliver.

  • Once set up, you’ll be able to track payments, view payout history, and manage your banking details.

Notes

  • You can have multiple payment methods but only one default.

  • Stripe Connect setup requires accurate personal or business banking info.

  • Payments are deposited directly into your connected bank account through Stripe.

Troubleshooting

  1. Can’t add a new payment method?

  • Ensure your card is valid and supports online transactions.

  • ACH requires bank account verification.

  1. Not receiving payouts?

  • Confirm your Stripe Connect account is fully set up (identity verified, bank account connected).

  • Check your payout schedule in the Stripe dashboard.

  1. Invoice missing

  • All invoices and receipts are stored in the Stripe dashboard.

  • Confirm your Billing Email in Team Settings is correct to receive copies by email.

Best practices

  • Use a company card for purchases if multiple teammates manage billing.

  • Set up Stripe Connect early if you plan to offer services so payouts aren’t delayed.

  • Keep your banking details up to date in Stripe for seamless transfers.
